After receiving the wonderful book, “Carving Small Characters” by Jack Price, I set out to carve a 2 inch character. The character turned out to look like a small Indian and I decided to further the wood carving, by attempting to put together a complete wood carving scene. I have had wood carving scene ideas floating around in my mind for a couple months and this was the perfect opportunity to incorporate those ideas.
With the Indian theme in mind, I created a scene that included a tipi, a campfire, and a TNT keg. I called the scene Lil’ Chief, Big “POW” “WOW”.
