If you are like me, you enjoy everything about baseball. Whether it’s watching the game, looking at statistics, or collecting baseball cards, I enjoy it all. Several years ago, I started acquiring autographs from major league baseball players through the mail. I have always been partial to the St. Louis Cardinals, therefore, my focus was on Cardinals players. Over the course of about 2 years (1993-1995), I sent off about 20 cards to be signed and was successful on 14 of them. I got sidetracked and started exploring other hobbies.

Near the end of the 2008 season, I began to think about my past success with obtaining autographs. I wondered if players still signed through the mail and searched online for the updated team addresses. During my search, I found a few other sites about “through the mail” autographs and decided to give it another try.

How to Get Baseball Autographs by Mail

Participating in autographs by mail is a great project for fans of all ages. All it takes to get started is the baseball card of your chosen player, address of player, ink pen, piece of notebook paper, two envelopes, 2 stamps, and a hard plastic case (not required but recommended).
