Hey everybody! It’s been a very quick, yet very busy year. As the year comes to a close, I feel like I have been able to add some quality information to the Ozark Walking Sticks blog. It has been fun sharing with everyone that has visited the blog. I had the best of intentions to get several more posts up since the video posts, but unfortunately life sometimes gets in the way. For my wife and I, we have been blessed with three precious little girls.
It’s only the 11th of December, but looking at the family and work schedules, it appears that I won’t be getting much more done on here until 2013 rolls around. I look forward to sharing with you several neat posts when I have the time to sit down and work them up. Some things to look ahead to are a written tutorial with pictures to go along with the video series about carving a Santa Ornament. I have some really neat Christmas gifts to share with their recipients and then I will share them with you on the blog. There should be at least one tutorial included in that material. Also, I want to share with you, pictures of the ornaments that I have received as part of the 2012 Woodcarving Illustrated Forum Christmas Ornament Exchange.
Here is a sneak peek of the ornaments that I did to send out to the carvers on my list for the Ornament Exchange.
Now for more information about the blessings that my wife and I received this year. :) We have been doing foster care for a couple years and finally this year, we got to adopt three precious little girls that we had been fostering. It has been a long process, but God has blessed us. We are very fortunate to have been able to adopt our first and only three foster children. Many times, children and shuffled around and in and out of foster homes, but God saw fit for us to have three girls placed in our care and followed up with the blessing of being able to adopt them without them being shuffled around.
So unless something changes, this is the last post that I will have posted this calendar year and I wanted to leave you with a couple pictures of my family.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
