Well, my plan was to do some carving today and not worry about making any posts on the OWS Blog. After getting some lunch with my family, I sat down with a 1″ X 1″ X 3″ piece of basswood and made a blind attempt at a small caricature carving. Keep in mind that I am just getting started with caricatures, so they are not anywhere near being great. 
I started by dividing that wood into roughly three equal sections and began separating the area of the head from the body.
