Do you ever have trouble with your paint washes trying to blend together at the edges of changing colors?

A really neat way to clean up your wood carving projects and help keep paints from crossing over and mixing, is to use a wood burner to burn lines.  The burning acts like a stop cut and also gives a great definition between areas of a carving.  This technique is great for small pins, ornaments and walking sticks.  Some people prefer to get the lines burned as narrow and sharp as possible.  This will require a very sharp pointed tip.
